The World’s Biggest Snowman and Snowy Jewish News

biggest-snowmanOkay, so due to El Nino this has been a very wet, snowy winter. The northeast’s snow has been dominating the Jewish news.  Come spring, the effects of his sister, El Nina, will become known and we won’t have as hot a summer as last year. But for right now, we’re still dealing with snow. Lots and lots of snow.

Below, a man is taking advantage in this video chosen from our catalogue of Jewish videos. This 35-foot snowman, with rubber tires for buttons, a traffic cone for a nose and a whole lot of love from passers-by is a big one, but did you know that the biggest snowman ever was 113.7 feet tall? It was made in Bethel, ME by a bunch of sixth graders. Dubbed Angus, King of the Mountain, he weighed over nine million pounds and had two ten foot trees for arms, a 120 foot fleece scarf, and four foot wreathes as eyes.

And if you think that this winter is terrible, check out these pictures from other gnarly winters on the Jewish news site. You’ll begin to feel good about being able to see your car, let alone drive it!
